Henk Soorsma is a member of the management team for the Board of Nature and Biodiversity at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He advises the minister on the government’s responsibility on matters concerning nature which affect legislation, knowledge, monitoring, enforcement, and decentralization agreements between provinces and the central government. Henk maintains contacts with provinces and is working for the ‘greening’ of agriculture.


Jasja Dekker is an ‘animal ecologist’, and runs his own agency for applied ecological research. He also produces aerial photos under the brandname, Jasja Vliegt (Jasja Flies). In his spare time, Jasje is Vice Chairman for Batlife Europe.


Krijn Poppe is educated as an economist and serves as a research manager at LEI Wageningen UR, where he works with clients in translating social issues into research programs. He is involved in several large, multidisciplinary research projects in the EU, including several projects for the ICT program on research infrastructure and innovation. Krijn Poppe also performs in a number of international management positions, and is a much sought after speaker on related issues.


Jurgen van der Vlist invents, innovates, designs, and builds cutting edge solutions in the field of virtual reality, apps, games, websites, artificial intelligence, computer vision, e-learning, knowledge systems, and augmented reality freelance for Perceptive Minds. He is also a Python / Django developer for high traffic websites, and currently active at Sanoma. Previously working with Spil Games, E-Learning For Kids, and VNU among others, Jurgen is an experienced hackathon participant with hacks including:
